Terms and Conditions for Naturopathic Services
1. Scope of Services
1.1. Valeriya Zakharova Naturopathy (hereinafter referred to as "the Practitioner") offers naturopathic services designed to support clients in achieving optimal health through individualised, holistic care.
1.2. Services may include, but are not limited to: consultations, health assessments, nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, dietary therapy, herbal and nutritional supplementation, and mind-body support.

2. Client Responsibilities
2.1. Clients agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information regarding their health history, medications, treatments, and lifestyle to allow the Practitioner to create appropriate recommendations.
2.2. Clients understand that naturopathic care is not a substitute for emergency care, medical diagnosis, or conventional treatment, and they are advised to maintain contact with their GP or medical specialists as needed.
2.3. Clients are expected to engage actively with their treatment plan. This includes:
-
Following dietary and lifestyle recommendations to the best of their ability
-
Taking supplements as prescribed
-
Using common sense and listening to their body
-
Communicating any concerns or reactions in a timely manner
2.4. Clients agree to avoid using search engines or AI tools (e.g. Google, ChatGPT) for self-diagnosis, treatment decisions, or adjusting protocols without consultation. Information sourced online may be incorrect or unsafe, and following it may compromise your results. Always seek clarification with the Practitioner directly.
3. Appointment Booking and Payment
3.1. All appointments must be booked in advance.
3.2. Full payment is required at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
3.3. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and PayPal.
3.4. Failure to finalise payment on time will result in automatic cancellation of the appointment.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No Refund Policy
4.1. Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
4.2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, and the session will be forfeited.
4.3. No refunds will be provided for missed appointments, change-of-mind cancellations, or lack of commitment to the treatment plan.
4.4. Rescheduling within 24 hours may incur a rebooking fee.
4.5. Clients who fail to attend appointments (“no-shows”) will not be refunded. Repeated no-shows may result in services being declined or future bookings requiring non-refundable prepayment.
4.6. In the rare case that the Practitioner must cancel or reschedule, you will be offered an alternative appointment time or a full refund.
4.7. If a client cancels an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, the fee for their next visit will increase by 50% (standard consultation $210 + 50% = $315).

5. Late Arrivals
5.1. Clients arriving 10 minutes late may receive a shortened session or be required to reschedule.
5.2. Late arrivals do not qualify for time extensions or fee reductions.
5.3. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will have their appointment cancelled automatically with no refund.

6. Refund Policy
6.1. No refunds are offered for services that have already commenced, including partially used packages.
6.2. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to commit to the process and accept responsibility for your engagement and actions.
6.3. Refunds will not be issued for failure to achieve results if recommendations were not followed or appointments not attended.
6.4 Refunds will not be issued for "change of mind" once the appointment has been paid for but not attended.

7. Client Commitment & Results
7.1. Naturopathic care is a collaborative process. The Practitioner provides guidance, education, and individualised protocols — clients are responsible for taking action on recommendations and making consistent efforts between appointments.
7.2. Optimal results are most commonly achieved by clients who commit to at least three or more appointments, maintain open communication, and follow the suggested treatment plan with dedication.

8. Communication Between Appointments
8.1. Clients on active packages may email short, relevant questions for clarification between sessions.
8.2. Complex or new health issues must be discussed during a booked session.
8.3. The Practitioner does not provide emergency medical advice or crisis support.

9. Confidentiality & Privacy
9.1. All personal information shared during consultations will remain confidential in line with Australian privacy laws.
9.2. No information will be disclosed to third parties without written consent, unless legally required.

10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. Clients acknowledge that results from naturopathic care are not guaranteed and vary depending on many factors, including personal health history, compliance, and lifestyle.
10.2. The Practitioner is not liable for any adverse effects, injuries, or complications resulting from failure to follow advice, misuse of supplements, or implementation of third-party health recommendations.

11. Termination of Services
11.1. The Practitioner reserves the right to discontinue care at any time, especially in cases of:
-
Repeated non-attendance
-
Inappropriate behaviour
-

11.2. Clients may also choose to cease care at any time with written notice. However, unused appointments are non-refundable.
